STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO READ
CRITICAL ESSAYS THAT HISTORIZE FILM
DURING THE 20TH CENTURY. WE WILL
HEAVILY INTERROGATE HOW THE GENRE
CONVEYS MEANINGS AROUND GENDER, SEX
WORK, SEXUALITY, AND RACE.
