Description

This event is part of Going Public: Advocacy, Activism, and Building Trust. Use the "sign up" button on this page to register for Day One's keynote and short talks. You can also register for Day Two here, and choose a workshop.

Research is rarely performed in isolation, or wholly within the bounds of the university. Back for its fourth year, the 2021 Going Public event explores the overlap between research, activism, and advocacy with a special focus on building trust with communities outside the university.

Join us for two days of talks with community leaders and researchers, plus practical workshops that will help you build skills to create social change through advocacy, engage with a broader audience, and showcase the importance of community-engaged research. Registration is free and open to anyone.
