GWSS PhD Candidate, fabian romero, won both a GSEE Foundry 10 Summer Support Fund Award, which gives them support over the summer to write a chapter of their dissertation, and an invitation and scholarship to attend the VONA (Voices of a Nation) summer writing workshop. At VONA fabi will be working with the noted writer and journalist Roberto Lovato on narrative journalism, sharing the first chapter of their dissertation, “Insurgent Kin.” Please Join us in congratulating fabi!
