Launched in October 2022, Going Public: Reimagining the PhD is a podcast series that explores public scholarship and publicly engaged teaching in the humanities. Supported by the Simpson Center for the Humanities, the podcast includes interviews with scholars who have received funding from the Andrew W. Mellon grant initiative, “Reimagining the Humanities PhD and Reaching New Publics: Catalyzing Collaboration.”

Airing March 1, 2023, the latest episode of the Going Public series, "'The Body Exists Online': Feminist Pedagogy and Digital Project Creation," features Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies Professor Regina Yung Lee. Drawing on her course, Feminist New Media Studies, Lee explores the perils and possibilities of digital technology and online content creation, with a particular focus on ways in which feminist pedagogy can be leveraged to create digital projects promoting social justice and equity.

This timely and thought-provoking episode is a must-listen for anyone interested in the intersection between feminist pedagogy and digital media. The accompanying seminar syllabus is an added benefit for scholars and students interested in exploring these issues further.
