The Department of Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies at UW is part of the Affirming Multivocal Humanities, a new set of grants from the Mellon Foundation that recognize the importance of studying race, ethnic, gender, and sexuality studies. The grant to our department will support guest speakers, student research and workshops, and community outreach events to broaden the visibility and impact of feminist scholarship on and beyond campus. Stay tuned for the departmental programming that will roll out over the next two years!
